Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Co. Arkadelphia plant is seeking a Production Supervisor to drive efficiency on the 12hr-PM shift while upholding product quality and GMP standards.

You will coach a manufacturing team on the floor, identify improvements, and collaborate with HR, Quality and Maintenance to resolve issues. Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, training staff, investigating root causes of problems, and ensuring safe operation through adherence to corporate standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP, Excel and Word required.

Responsibilities

• Coach and influence employees under supervision.
• Train and motivate employees to achieve peak productivity.
• Direct daily activities and long-term objectives with cross-shift collaboration.
• Investigate root causes of manufacturing problems.
