Job summary

Smith & Wesson seeks a dedicated Planner to support the production plan for firearms in Maryville, TN. You will coordinate with Procurement, Cell Coordinators and Team Leaders to ensure feasibility and adjust the plan as needed, while maintaining inventory accuracy with Inventory Control.

The role requires a degree or relevant experience, strong analytical and collaborative skills, and proficiency with MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus. In-office position in Maryville.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required OR 3 years of experience in manufacturing or planning.
• Strong analytical skills and sound problem analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Release planned orders to support production material and floor stock.
• Interface with Engineering, manufacturing, Purchasing and Supervisors on material status.
• Interact with Procurement and Team Leaders to ensure feasible production plan.
