Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Co. is seeking a Production Supervisor for 12-hour PM shifts at the Arkadelphia, AR plant. You will lead a manufacturing team, monitor safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, investigating root causes of issues, ensuring GMP compliance, and collaborating with HR, Quality and Maintenance to deliver high quality products.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with Excel, Word and SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Coach and influence employees under supervision.
• Train and motivate employees to achieve peak productivity.
• Direct daily activities and long-term objectives of the department with cross-shift collaboration.
• Conduct investigations to identify root causes of manufacturing problems.
• Work with HR, Quality and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Ensure GMP compliance and adherence to work rules at all times.
• Deliver quality products through continuous improvement and adherence to SOPs.
