Homeostasis Systems Corp. is seeking a Production Engineer to operate our reactor for molten carbonate electrolysis in Tacoma, WA. This on-site, part-time role involves monitoring high-temperature equipment, following procedures, and reporting anomalies with a safety-focused mindset.

The position emphasizes accuracy, vigilance, and teamwork as you assist with startup, shutdown, and routine maintenance while ensuring a clean work area and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• On-site Tacoma, WA work location.
• Comfort around high-temperature and high-voltage equipment.
• Physical ability to stand and perform manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious mindset.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• OSHA safety training or similar certifications (highly desired).

Responsabilités

• Operate reactor system according to training and procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment during operation for abnormal behavior and safety issues.
• Perform routine checks and measurements as directed by engineering.
• Document operational parameters, observations and incidents.
• Assist with startup, shutdown and maintenance under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around equipment.
• Respond to alarms or emergencies following safety procedures.
• Communicate status and concerns to the engineering team.
• Support material handling tasks including loading feedstock and sampling.
