Job summary

Harbour Industries LLC, part of Marmon Holdings and Berkshire Hathaway, seeks a Process Engineer to support daily production and own process performance across wire and cable manufacturing.

You will partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost improvements, developing and optimizing cost-effective manufacturing processes and training operators on best practices on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, PLC systems.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to lead change using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for extrusion, stranding, cabling, and related processes.
• Lead root cause analysis of quality/downtime issues and implement corrective actions.
• Improve productivity and control costs through process stabilization.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
• Lead process development, validation, and industrialization for new products.
• Install, commission, and optimize new equipment and technologies.
• Develop SOPs and analyze data to optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO standards and customer requirements.
