Job summary

Precision Pulley & Idler (PPI) in Pella, IA is seeking a Welding Technician on 2nd shift. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related on-the-job training may be required.
• Welding knowledge in shop/fab settings per customer specs.
• Ability to read simple blueprints and work orders.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn processes.
• Regular attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Tack, weld, fabricate, and repair equipment and tooling.
• Grind, clean, and bevel welds as needed.
• Use weld gauge to verify weld dimensions.
• Review schedules, prints, and technical standards.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Support other tasks per lead or supervisor instructions.
