Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking two full-time Financial Analysts to support the Office of the Undersecretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment in the Arlington Falls Church, VA area.

You will help track budget execution, maintain spend plans, and draft updates for leadership using BLUF formats. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2–4 years of financial experience, and a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• U.S. citizen.
• SECRET clearance required.
• 2–4 years in financial field.
• Understanding of PPBE, budget formulation, execution, spend plan management, and funds distribution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budget formulation and execution to meet Comptroller benchmarks.
• Maintain and update spend plans and ensure accurate tracking of contracts and vendors.
• Draft clear variance reports and justifications when targets aren’t met.
