Job summary

The Duke Human Vaccine Institute (DHVI) seeks a Computational Immunobiology Postdoctoral Associate to contribute to cutting-edge HIV vaccine research in Durham, NC. This on-site role focuses on analyzing omics-based immune responses and leveraging single-cell data with 10x Genomics workflows.

Applicants should have a PhD in Immunology, data science, or related fields, with demonstrated experience in omics data analysis and strong scientific writing skills for manuscripts and grants.

Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology, Data Science and/or related fields.
• MD/PhD with molecular biology research experience.
• Must have experience with analyzing omics data; familiarity with 10x Genomics data sets using cell ranger pipeline and additional analysis tools is desired.
• Must have writing experience; manuscript, grant and/or abstracts for scientific meetings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze host immunity elicited by candidate HIV vaccines using computational approaches and molecular biology methods.
• Design, execute, analyze, archive, and review wet lab experiments under supervisor guidance.
• Collaborate with other staff and contribute to manuscripts and grant applications.
