Job summary

Greater New Jersey Behavioral Health LLC seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site psychiatric care in Lawrence Township, NJ as a 1099 contractor. Daytime, as-needed scheduling with robust collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, medications management, and treatment planning. Must have PMHNP certification, NJ licensure, and 1–2 years of related experience. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $80 to $100.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with preparation as PMHNP.
• Active New Jersey RN license and APN certification with PMHNP specialization.
• Current PMHNP-BC certification (ANCC).
• Prescriptive authority in NJ with CDS/DEA registrations when required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of psychiatric care experience.
• Strong assessment, diagnosis, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses to inform treatment planning.
• Provide psychiatric medication management and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Monitor patients with mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions.
• Educate patients on medications, side effects, and adherence importance.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation and treatment recommendations.
