Job summary
SJE Inc. in Madison, WI is seeking a PLC/HMI Programmer to develop PLC code and HMI graphics for our water and wastewater control solutions. You will work on panels/MCCs manufactured in-house and may perform custom modifications to operating control systems.
This is an on-site role in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate has experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs, familiarity with CompactLogix, MicroLogix and ControlLogix, and hands-on work with PanelView, Maple, Automation Direct and
Qualifications
- Experience programming Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
- Comfort with CompactLogix, MicroLogix and ControlLogix.
- Experience with PanelView, Maple, Automation Direct and Wonderware HMI Programs.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills.
- 2-year degree in Automation Technology or equivalent; 5+ years experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop PLC code and HMI graphics for control systems.
- Work on panels and MCCs in-house and perform custom modifications.
- Operate largely independently with team support when needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize programming functions.
