Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a Plant Assembly Supervisor to oversee daily shop activities and support manufacturing and safety objectives. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication across functions in a fast-paced production setting.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years manufacturing experience with supervisory capabilities and be on-site in Hobart, Indiana. A technical background and MS Office proficiency are preferred, with a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• On-site daily work in Hobart, Indiana.

• Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team work, schedule staff, plan and assign tasks.
• Ensure quality and on-time delivery, address production challenges.
• Communicate updates to managers and plant leadership.
• Manage workflow with production department and delegate tasks.
• Lead 6S improvements to achieve 90 points.
• Provide technical guidance and consult with resources as needed.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching, and manage training progress.
