Job summary

TEICON Engineering GmbH / TEICON Projects GmbH is seeking an experienced HSE Site Supervisor for a large-scale industrial project in the Beaumont-Port Arthur area, Texas. The role leads on-site HSE activities throughout construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.

You will supervise field HSE, deliver inductions and training, review contractor safety documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Several years of proven experience as HSE Manager or Site HSE-related roles on industrial construction projects.
• Strong experience in HSE training, field supervision, contractor oversight, and administration.
• Knowledge of U.S. occupational safety requirements and standards for industrial construction.
• Willingness to work on site for full assignment including extended hours and Saturdays if required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project-specific HSE management systems, plans and safe work practices.
• Provide field-based HSE supervision and advise management, contractors, and sub-contractors.
• Conduct site inspections, safety walks, and corrective actions documentation.
• Coordinate HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training with training records.
• Review contractor HSE documentation (plans, risk assessments, LOTO, permits).
• Ensure compliance with permits, PPE, and protective measures.
• Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.
• Compile HSE statistics and prepare structured management reports.
• Participate in site and coordination meetings and maintain records.
