Position is part-time/intermittent with 400 total clinical hours per contract year. Work hours are one or two weekdays per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with base period January 11, 2027, to January 10, 2028.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Tennessee as a physician (MD or DO).
• Must maintain a current, valid DEA registration.
• Must maintain medical/professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.
• Must be qualified to diagnose, treat, prescribe, and provide medical services within Tennessee law.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team serving youth generally ages 16–24.
• Must comply with HIPAA and related federal/state requirements and guidance.
• Must consent to criminal background checks and required credential verification.

Aufgaben

• Provide on-site medical services to students at Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center.
• Emphasize early identification, basic and preventive care, and health education.
• Coordinate with Center Health and Wellness program for referrals and chronic care management.
• Document diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and patient interactions promptly.
• Conduct intake physical exams and develop treatment plans as applicable.
• Review student files and ensure appropriate medical oversight and supervision when needed.
