Qualifications

• Active TN Nurse Practitioner license with authority to practice.
• DEA registration required.
• Medical/professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 and general liability insurance.
• Must meet TN NP scope, prescribing, supervision, and collaborative requirements.
• Ability to work independently within NP scope and with healthcare team.
• Must comply with HIPAA, OSHA, Job Corps and related guidelines.
• Consent to background check and drug testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site NP services for students at Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center in Bristol, TN.
• Identify, diagnose, and manage medical concerns; coordinate with physicians and specialists as needed.
• Prescribe within authorized privileges and arrange referrals for comprehensive care.
• Maintain Student Health Records and Job Corps forms promptly.
• Deliver health education, preventive care and chronic care management.
