Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy MA Licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients, develop appropriate treatment goals, implement treatment plans, and complete related documentation.
• Design and fit adaptive devices, and train clients in the use of adaptive devices including orthotics and prosthetics.
• Select physical agent modalities suited to the individual’s needs and abilities.
• Consult with rehabilitation team to choose appropriate therapy.
• Instruct clients in mobility skills and evaluate progress and attitudes.
• Customize treatment programs to meet individual needs.
• Contribute to staffing conferences and related meetings.
• Supervise supportive personnel in accordance with standards.
• Train medical, nursing and other personnel in physical therapy techniques.
