Job summary

Alfa Laval in Greer, SC seeks a hands-on technician to inspect, disassemble, and reassemble plates and gaskets in a shop environment. You will be responsible for receiving parts, labeling, gasket installation, and performing quality checks following drawings and PLA specifications.

The role requires forklift, pallet jack, and crane familiarity, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and 5S housekeeping. Competitive benefits accompany the on-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in a manual shop is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
• Able to read PLA/Drawings and use measuring devices as required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts, verifies, labels and stores all parts.
• Uncrates, removes gaskets, disassembles.
• Installs new gaskets per specification (glue, snap or clip).
• Directly responsible for keeping work area and surrounding equipment clean and organized (5S).
• Responsible for shipping, receiving, distribution of Alfa Laval and customer equipment.
• Picks up/Deliver customer equipment every couple months/as necessary.
• Actively participates in daily ALPS meeting.
• Dyes penetration inspection process and related steps.
