Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Michigan, a member of the Guardian family, invites you to join our Grand Rapids team as a Pharmacy Technician. You will enter and process prescriptions, communicate with customers by phone, and ensure accurate dosing and records in our pharmacy systems.

The position requires a current Pharmacy Technician license and a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. On-site hours are Monday–Friday, with competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
2+ years of related experience or equivalent training.
Advanced computer skills; pharmacy systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Enter new and refill prescriptions accurately in the operating system.
Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
Verify notes, dosing, and cycle fill codes in the system.
Respond to customer calls with courtesy and professionalism.
Complete prescriptions within regular shift and assist with filing, packaging, and inventory as needed.
Maintain proficiency in all pharmacy systems and documentation.
Meet delivery deadlines and renew cycle medication orders as applicable.
Handle other essential duties as assigned.
