Virtua Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in dispensing and distributing medications, under supervision. The role includes unit-dose preparation, inventory management, and documentation to ensure safe, efficient medication handling.

You will perform medication exchanges, maintain automated dispensing devices, and support compliance with licensure timelines. Requires HS diploma or GED and on-site, full-time evening shift in the United States.

Qualifikationen

• HS graduate or GED required.
• Pharmacy technicians must apply to the Board for registration within 10 days of hire and obtain registration within 180 days.

Aufgaben

• Prepares medications and fills orders as written/prescribed under the supervision of Pharmacist.
• Performs medication exchanges, pick-ups and deliveries.
• Demonstrates knowledge of IV sterile products preparation.
• Prepare unit dose medication from bulk packaging.
• Performs inventory management and documentation.
• Maintains automated dispensing devices.
• Perform medication area inspections.
