Job summary

The One 23 Group is seeking a Help Desk Specialist based in Montgomery, Alabama, to provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support for UNIX/Linux systems within the GCCS Management Centers. Candidates must possess an active Top-Secret Clearance and a high school diploma, along with 5 years of experience in technical support. The role requires in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity compliance and problem resolution.

This position is 100% on-site at the Pentagon with a Swing Shift schedule, ensuring that operations are overseen effectively in a critical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum active Top-Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• 5 years of technical experience with UNIX/Linux support/administration.
• DoD 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support for GCCS and JPES.
• Diagnose UNIX/Linux problems and oversee user support.
• Utilize knowledge base and ticket system for problem resolution.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and recommend innovations.
• Interact with technologists across multiple disciplines to resolve issues.
