Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with asphalt paving, sealcoating, and related surface preparation on parking lots, roads, and driveways.
• Ability to safely operate paving, milling, and sealing equipment and perform basic inspections.
• Knowledge of job site safety practices, traffic control procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to read and follow project instructions, markings, and layouts, and to work accurately with measurements.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills, with a focus on quality workmanship and deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites; CDL is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train across services.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain paving, milling, and sealing equipment.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Read job layouts and measurements to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with crew leaders to complete projects efficiently.
• Assist with traffic control and site setup as needed.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work primarily outdoors; weekend or phased scheduling may be required.
