Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English and have strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and register patients.
• Schedule and coordinate procedures with accuracy.
• Verify insurance information and collect copays.
• Respond to patient and referring office questions.
• Escort patients to exam rooms as needed.
• Assist the billing office by collecting patient information and reports.
