Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Data entry and attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to process confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain, confirm, and enter demographic, financial, and clinical information for financial clearance of scheduled patient accounts.
• Verify insurance and determine eligibility, notifying patient/physician when needed.
• Coordinate with scheduling to identify add-on patients and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals.
• Notify patients of potential liabilities before service and collect funds.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the system of record.
• Serve as a lead resource for junior staff and promote best practices.
