Job summary

2020 Companies, representing Samsung Electronics America, seeks a data-driven CE Parts Demand Planner in Plano, TX. This full-time role focuses on forecasting, MRP, inventory analysis, and supply planning to ensure critical service parts are available when needed.

You will collaborate with Order Management, Warehousing, Logistics, Vendors, and SEA CARE Quality teams, using MySQL, Tableau, and SAP/ERP, with strong Excel skills. Bilingual Korean is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
• MySQL and Tableau experience.
• Strong data analytics skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize service parts forecast and usage rate to plan materials through the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) System.
• Review and validate Service Parts forecasts based on market insights, demand trends, and product lifecycle to make logical decisions for target inventory and supply plans.
• Collaborate with Order Management, Warehousing, and Inbound Logistics teams to communicate priorities and expedite to ensure coverage for service demand.
• Detect expected supply shortages and proactively build contingency plans for recovery.
• Analyze inventory levels based upon parts usage, lead time to delivery, current balance on hand, and future demands.
• Monitor parts usage to determine the need for changes to inventory levels and order quantity.
• Create necessary reports in a timely manner.
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Serve as Liaison between GBM, Vendors, and SEA CARE Quality teams in regard to service parts needs
