Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc. in Bismarck, ND is looking for a Finance Intern to assist the Finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks and gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.

The internship is on-site, part-time, and paid $17–$20 per hour, with opportunities to learn Excel, fixed asset accounting, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing Accounting or Finance.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing: assist with close activities and reconciliations.
• General Accounting: assist with record-keeping and accounting tasks.
• Fixed Assets: maintain asset records and related activities.
• Financial Reporting: help prepare reports and schedules.
• Audit Support: gather documentation for audits as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: support process and reporting improvements.
• Collaboration: work with Finance and other departments on projects.
