Foxtrot Services in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer with Palantir Foundry expertise to work on-site up to five days a week.

You will translate mission needs into technical configurations, dashboards, and operational workflows directly with government clients. Ideal candidates bring 3–7 years in national security analytics, strong communication skills, and hands-on data platform deployment experience.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Platform Experience: Proven, hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry is required.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or 3–7 years of equivalent experience.
• Domain Expertise: 3–7 years of experience performing national security-related analytics, with knowledge of defense acquisition processes and program management.
• Communication: Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills with a history of presenting findings to senior government officials.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Technical Execution: Embed with client teams up to five days per week to provide forward-deployed technical solutions.
• Platform Configuration & Data Engineering: Use SQL and Python to configure platforms, integrate data from structured and unstructured sources, and support containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary technical interface for senior stakeholders and model scenarios to address supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Mission Enablement: Develop mission-specific dashboards and workflows ensuring high-level assessments translate into functional monitors.
• Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve system issues and perform root-cause analysis to improve performance and scalability.
• Leadership: Lead execution teams, mentor peers, and shape organizational knowledge of data platforms.
