Job summary

National Capitol Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Foundry Engineer to develop, deploy, integrate, and scale Palantir Foundry solutions for Navy dashboards and data workflows at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.

The role combines platform development, solution architecture, and customer-facing implementation. You will work with Navy stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical, scalable Foundry deployments while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 13+ years in software/platform engineering, solutions architecture, or related roles.
• Experience with data connectivity, ontology development, or developer toolchains.
• Strong Python and SQL skills and experience with enterprise platforms.
• Ability to work directly with customers and deliver scalable Foundry deployments.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliant deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Palantir Foundry platform capabilities.
• Build data connectivity, models, ontologies, and workflows.
• Work with Navy stakeholders to tailor Foundry solutions for mission outcomes.
• Lead implementation from discovery through production support.
• Integrate Foundry with databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Develop dashboards and data pipelines for deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure deployments meet cybersecurity and governance requirements.
• Communicate designs, risks, and recommendations to technical audiences.
