Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites across the United States. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and responsive on-call support.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and some technical training; crane experience is a plus. This on-site position requires lifting, travel, and a willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree or related technical training preferred.
• 1+ year experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Experience with cranes is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Perform post-repair audits to ensure safety features are functional.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues, offering recommendations.
