Qualifications

• Professional work experience, including work with high volumes of data very helpful
• At least one (1) year’s experience in logistics or import/export operations is highly preferred
• Familiarity with shipping processes in manufacturing and other industrial settings
• Ability to carry out detailed procedures in a time-constrained environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Quick and continuous learner with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding order fulfillment questions.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve shipping errors and miscellaneous shipment cost issues.
• Develop and document processes to make order fulfillment more efficient and train others.
• Work with department supervisors to balance workloads for shipping personnel.
• Maintain files and documentation for compliance with shipping laws and export regulations.
• Use ERP system and carrier websites to track and process shipments.
• Comply with ISO standards and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
