Job summary

Leidos is hiring a Java Developer to support the FAA in Oklahoma City, OK. You will participate in all phases of development for a web application with an Oracle back-end, integrating hardware interfaces and system software.

The role requires 5+ years of JAVA/J2EE experience, Spring MVC, RESTful services, and on-site work at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. Candidates must reside in Oklahoma City or relocate; public trust interim clearance may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years experience, or more years in lieu of degree.
Strong JAVA/J2EE skills with Spring MVC, Spring Security, JSF, Eclipse/Hibernate/JPA.
Oracle PL/SQL and RESTful API development.
GUI development experience.
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Familiar with JIRA/Confluence/GitLab/Liquibase.
Experience with Payara/WebLogic containers.
Must obtain public trust interim clearance.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residence with 3+ years in U.S.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of development of application software to include architecture, design, implementation, debug, validation, and verification with a web application / Oracle back-end
Manage lifecycle to include requirements, system design, and test
Produce software code that interfaces directly with hardware
Debug and troubleshoot commands in object-oriented programming
Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture that interfaces with hardware
Oracle Database & Products: Installation, Patching, Auditing & Security, Backup & Restoration, Disaster Recovery, Familiarity with OEM-Tools/Plugins
