Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations & Conversion Manager to oversee day-to-day facility operations, event services, and conversions at Mesa Convention Center and Amphitheater. You will coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.

Based on site in Mesa, AZ, you’ll supervise setup crews, manage room turnovers, and ensure safety compliance while supporting a wide range of events from conferences to concerts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred and relevant experience will be considered
• 3-5+ years in venue operations, event services, or facility management preferred
• 1-3+ years supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Experience with large-scale events and multi-day programming preferred
• Experience operating event and facility equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, staging) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee venue operations and event services to ensure smooth execution
• Coordinate operational activities with internal departments, clients, promoters, contractors, and vendors
• Oversee all event setups, room turnovers, and venue conversions per event specifications
• Maintain OSHA, life safety, and ADA compliance across facilities
• Act as Manager on Duty during events and provide leadership on-site
• Lead staffing, safety, and cross-functional coordination for events
• Support and improve communication across departments to meet event requirements
