Job summary

The Resident Operational Engineer - Marion plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing the daily, weekly and monthly activities to maintain, operate and support the E80 systems and equipment in dedicated customer plants. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, client maintenance and operation teams.

This position will be 50% Hands on the equipment/system and 50% Supervising and Coordinating with other E80 staff and customer.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
2+ years in material handling, packaging equipment, robotics, or palletizing customer service/PM.
Strong technical background with E80 automation systems (PLC, LGV, EM).
Familiarity with SAP ERP and Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as first point of contact for customer service, manage tickets, quotes for parts, and coordinate with back-office support.
Allocate resources and manage materials for field services and projects.
Develop and maintain schedules for maintenance and retrofit activities; coordinate with stakeholders.
Enter and manage tickets in Salesforce and monitor ticket resolutions.
Ensure safety, compliance and process improvements across activities.
