Job summary

Domnovate is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a local on-site contract in Salinas, California. The role involves assessing functional abilities, establishing goals and treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions and adaptive strategies, and reassessing progress to help patients achieve everyday independence.

You will document clinical findings, coordinate with the rehabilitation team and communicate with patients and caregivers while adhering to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist licensure or eligibility, with required credentials completed before practice.
• Appropriate accredited education and clinical qualifications for the role.
• Clinical reasoning, clear communication and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to complete applicable credential, screening, orientation and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional abilities and participation in daily activities, establish individualized occupational therapy goals and treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions and adaptive strategies within scope, and reassess progress.
• Help patients and caregivers develop practical skills for self-care, safety and independence. Coordinate care with the rehabilitation team and document clinical findings and progress accurately.
• Support coordinated care that respects each person’s abilities, priorities and dignity. Communicate clearly with colleagues, patients and caregivers, follow professional standards and safety practices, and complete documentation promptly.
• Clinical work, caseload and team arrangements will be reviewed during hiring.
