East Penn Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to join our on-site Medical Center team on the third shift. This role focuses on clinical care, injury assessment, health education, and occupational health services in a manufacturing environment.

The nurse will work with employees, physicians, supervisors, and management to promote a safe workplace, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide timely care for work-related injuries and illnesses while maintaining

Qualifications

• Current and valid Pennsylvania RN License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to employee health, safety, wellness, and quality care.
• Must be able to complete training on 1st shift prior to transitioning to the assigned 3rd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the on-site Medical Center during the third shift.
• Conduct physical assessments of injured or ill employees and determine the appropriate course of action.
• Coordinate medical treatment and referrals with physicians and outside providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor employee health concerns and provide education on workplace health initiatives.
• Stay current on OSHA, DOT, and applicable health regulations.
• Assist in developing and updating occupational health procedures and programs.
• Communicate health and wellness concerns to management and staff as appropriate.
• Support injury prevention and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Respond to workplace medical emergencies with first aid or emergency care.
