Job summary

Legora AB is seeking a Junior/Mid-level Forward Deployed Engineer for enterprise engagements in New York City. You will connect Legora to customer systems, build integrations, and deliver defined projects from scoping through production delivery. This hands-on role sits within Enterprise Engineering.

You will work with product engineers, Legal Engineers, and Engagement Managers to grow your technical judgment and customer-facing skills while taking increasing ownership of delivery.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping production software.
• Clear communicator with customers and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering defined projects end-to-end and explaining outcomes.
• Curious about problems and able to learn quickly across tech stacks.
• Accountable, receptive to feedback, and independent.
• Adaptable across technologies and unfamiliar systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand workflows with customers and translate into engineering tasks.
• Build, test, and ship integrations and product changes from implementation to deployment.
• Explain technical decisions clearly and keep stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate on design reviews and tradeoffs, seek help when unclear.
• Debug issues across Legora and customer systems using logs and tests.
• Incorporate customer feedback into product discussions and tooling.
