Laland Baptiste, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Jr Estimator to join our Construction Management team in New York, NY on site. The role focuses on developing accurate cost estimates across project stages, from pre-construction through closeout, with 3–5 years of estimator experience.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field and be proficient in Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, RSMeans, Timberline, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive construction cost estimates for a variety of building projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates using established methodologies.
• Review blueprints and contract documents to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Assist in bid leveling and pricing validation with contractors.
