Job summary

STRUCTURAL seeks a Safety Specialist to oversee safety protocols on site at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station in Tonopah, AZ. Responsibilities include conducting safety meetings, identifying risks, and implementing measures, with a focus on education and plan development.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in safety management, OSHA knowledge, and strong leadership. Bilingual English/Spanish and CSST are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in safety management.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to train and mentor team members.
• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance.
• Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• OSHA 30 certification is required; OSHA 500 is preferred.
• CSST certification and English/Spanish bilingual ability are advantages.
