Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a hands-on Researcher to join our small neurotechnology startup in Boston, MA. You will work directly with research participants, operate non-invasive devices, and shape studies at the intersection of neuroscience, technology, and medicine.

This on-site role requires 6 days a week, 9am–6pm, with collaborative work across neuroscience, engineering, medicine, and operations. We value curiosity, rigorous data collection, and the ability to translate observations into actionable

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in research, clinical, or laboratory environments—conducting studies, collecting data, or operating specialized equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with human research participants or patients in clinical or medical settings.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining specialized medical or scientific instruments.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with research participants during study sessions, prioritizing their safety and comfort while collecting high-quality data.
• Operate, test, and maintain cutting-edge neurotechnology devices with precision and care.
• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data to support ongoing research initiatives.
• Identify patterns in observations and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Help improve research protocols, standard operating procedures, and tooling based on real-world experience in the lab.
• Collaborate across neuroscience, engineering, medicine, and operations teams to solve complex, interdisciplinary problems.
• Take ownership of foundational projects that shape the trajectory of the company.
