Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II for Neurology to manage recruitment, data management and regulatory tasks across multiple clinical trials. On-site responsibilities include coordinating visits, obtaining informed consent, and data entry in EMR/eCRF systems.

Leadership from PIs and project managers, with QA and regulatory duties, support site visits and audits. Spanish language preferred and weekend flexibility noted in duties.

Qualifications

• CRC II: Experienced level position
• Master’s Degree OR Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-5 years of experience
• Special Intermittent Project Responsibilities (2-5 per year)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and tracks eligibility of all patients seen in the clinic; recruits subjects
• Performs enrollment including informed consent and registration to cohort studies
• Schedules appointments and conducts reminders
• Performs biospecimen collection (blood, saliva, urine)
• Manages office duties and records
• Reviews and abstracts medical records for inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Enters data into EMR and eCRF systems; trains student researchers
• QA reviews; data queries and collection; maintains records
• Coordinates collection, processing, storage of biospecimens
• Assists with IRB and regulatory submissions and maintenance
