Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join a classified program focused on command and control, battle management, and secure communications. This 100% on-site role is based in Colorado Springs, CO and requires an active top secret clearance.

Responsibilities include implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, and coordinating with senior engineers on design and optimization.

Qualifications

3+ years related experience; degree or training in related field
Experience with software development lifecycle
Expertise in Information Assurance (IA) NIST standards
IAT level II 8579 compliant certification
Active TS clearance
CCNA or JNCIA with network design and firewall experience

Responsibilities

Implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
Ensuring reliable connectivity across LAN/WAN environments and collaboration with senior engineers on design and optimization
Configure devices such as routers, switches and firewalls
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity across VLANs, routing protocols, and security controls
Traveling to remote locations for network installations
