Job summary

The Arc Erie County New York is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Williamsville, NY. This on-site role requires a five-day-per-week presence with no remote or hybrid options.

Responsibilities include maintaining networks, supporting LAN/WAN, and managing servers and security. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree (or equivalent experience), hands-on IT experience, and applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field with 4+ years of IT experience or Associate’s degree with 6+ years of IT experience.
• Experience managing networks and Active Directory.
• IT certifications such as CCNA, VCP, Microsoft, Citrix, or SonicWall are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain servers, network hardware, software, and security.
• Support LAN/WAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Support Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, VMware, and VPN solutions.
• Install and configure new hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot advanced network and technical issues.
• Maintain network documentation and equipment inventory.
• Assist with disaster recovery and technology planning.
• Provide on-call support for network-related issues.
