Job summary

Anakim Consulting Inc. seeks a Computer Network Engineer II to support NASA’s MSFC network infrastructure in Huntsville, AL. The role involves direct collaboration with NASA customers, engineers, and architects to implement critical network changes and ensure maximum availability and security.

You will identify and resolve issues during events, perform capacity and security optimization, and help design WLAN deployments to expand capacity and bandwidth. On-site schedule at MSFC is required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of related computer network engineering experience with a BS degree or 8+ years with an AA/AS degree.
• CCNA or CCNP certification required; Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and deliver network design proposals for technical teams and leadership.
• Execute switch and router design implementations and refresh/replace legacy equipment.
• Perform change tasks via CLI using SOP, TTP, and WI, applying best practices.
