Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• US citizen.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Experience maintaining enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Cisco and Palo Alto network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, LANs, WANs, site-to-site VPNs, remote access VPNs, and wireless networks
• Implement network configuration changes per approved architecture and design direction from senior engineers and IT leadership
• Assist in planning and deployment of cloud network infrastructure in AWS, including basic VPC configuration, VPN connectivity, and security groups
• Apply security best practices in all configuration, change, and support activities; flag and elevate security concerns
• Contribute to development and maintenance of network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and configuration records
• Support program engineering activities including enterprise configuration management, change control, and training documentation for network capabilities
• Respond to tickets (Slack/GitLab) and provide Tier 2/3 support, tracking and resolving issues
• Assist in evaluating and implementing network solutions for corporate and customer environments
• Support hardware lifecycle activities including equipment refresh, software upgrades, and routine patching
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support procurement and delivery of network products and services
