Job summary

Structor Construction, LLC is seeking a Multifamily Assistant Project Manager to lead major portions of our commercial projects on-site in Abilene, TX. You will own procurement, billing, and change management while developing Project Engineers and refining cost controls.

Responsibilities include drafting change orders, compiling owner billing, tracking procurement, and preparing subcontracts. 3+ years’ construction experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business or equivalent.
• 3+ years of construction experience, typically as a Project Engineer.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and route change orders between ownership and subcontractors.
• Compile owner billing packages and verify subcontractor invoices.
• Track procurement timelines and expedite ahead of schedule need dates.
• Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Lead project closeout.
• Mentor Project Engineers and prioritize their workload.
