Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a part-time Leasing Consultant for an on-site apartment community. You will greet prospects, explain floor plans, and guide tours to secure leases while delivering excellent resident service.

Responsibilities include processing applications, maintaining leasing files, coordinating with the Property Manager, and supporting marketing outreach and community events to achieve occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leasing or sales experience in multifamily housing preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance (or training within 90 days).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (Yardi/OneSite).
• Willingness to work weekends and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, qualify needs, and conduct tours of available apartments.
• Present features and benefits, including floor plans, amenities, and neighborhood offerings.
• Process applications and leasing documents per company standards.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends and contribute marketing ideas to the Property Manager.
• Participate in outreach marketing and community engagement events.
• Promote outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Assist with lease renewals, notices to vacate, and resident satisfaction efforts.
• Accurately complete lease files, guest cards, verifications, and follow-ups.
• Maintain leasing files, logs, and reporting; document interactions in logs.
• Assist with property inspections and report needs; support with admin tasks.
