Job summary

Hyatt Place St. Petersburg is seeking an on-site accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations for two properties: Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront and Hyatt Place St.

Petersburg. You will help manage property-level accounting processes and ensure compliance with corporate policies and brand standards. The role requires 3–5 years of hotel accounting experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and proficiency with hotel PMS and M3 accounting software.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in hotel corporate accounting or property-level roles.
• 3–5 years progressive hotel accounting experience; multi-property preferred.
• Experience with M3 and hotel PMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property-level accounting workflows for two hotels.
• Perform income audits, reconcile deposits, and manage cash handling.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable with accurate cost allocations.
• Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance, payroll journals, and franchise invoicing.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements.
