Job summary

Solidus Resources, a U.S.-based gold development company, is seeking a Construction Superintendent for its Spring Valley project in Nevada. You will supervise on-site construction teams, coordinate with EPCM, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and drive turnover activities for mine infrastructure and processing areas.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10+ years of on-site mining construction, experience with EPCM delivery, and strong problem-solving under demanding field conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Mining, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 5–10+ years on-site construction and field engineering in mining or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with EPCM-led delivery models and Owner-constructed execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities ensuring scope, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Act as Owner’s field rep for RFIs, clarifications, and field design changes.
• Coordinate interface meetings among EPCM, contractors, HSE, and Owner teams; participate in toolbox talks and safety walks.
• Review CWPs/IWPs, method statements, and SOPs for compliance and constructability.
• Monitor progress, manpower, equipment utilization, and report status to Construction Director.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation actions; track issue closure.
