Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Warehouse Technician at our Alaska site to ensure high-quality supply, storage and distribution of goods in support of operations. A strong focus on internal customer service drives daily activities across the warehouse and inventory areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, and competence with office software including Excel and Outlook; CDL preferred and background check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year’s experience in relevant role, e.g. shipping/receiving goods/maintaining inventory.
• Demonstrated competence with office processes, systems, equipment and software.
• Computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must display initiative, be able to work independently and learn what is needed to perform required tasks.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a background check and post offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate inventory systems.
• Receive/stock and direct charge materials.
• Maintain surface warehouses, cold storage, connex storages, and pallet yards in a clean, safe, organized condition.
• Perform inventory control and usage reporting.
• Other duties as required.
