Northern Star (Pogo) LLC have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Temporary Warehouse Technician at our Fairbanks office. This position is expected to be a 3-4 month temporary assignment. Temporary roles often provide opportunities to transition into a full-time, permanent position within the company based on business needs and performance.

What’s the role?

The temporary Warehouse Technician reports to the Commercial Manager , and the primary role is to complete a designated project which includes unloading and stacking of storage totes, product clean-up and database cataloguing.

The specifics:

• Clean up stock
• Organize stock onto shelves
• Database input using Excel
• Other duties as required

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer literacy; must be able to use Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, from floor to chest without injury.
• Excellent interpersonal,writtenand verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Must display initiative, be able to work independently and learn what is needed to perform required tasks.
• Ability to get along with others as a team player, have an excellent work ethic, attendance record.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a background check and post offer physical.

Work schedule is 5 days on (Monday-Friday) and 2 days off each week, 8 hour days. Conditions include mild dust. Only candidates living in the Fairbanks vicinity will be considered for the position.
