Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Magnolia, TX is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer III to support on-site field assessments, failure analyses, and material reviews for energy infrastructure projects.

You will develop plans, reports, and cost estimates while collaborating with experts and clients; a strong background in materials/structural engineering and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of experience and focus on pipeline failure assessments.
• Interest and familiarity with non-metallic materials.
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline; Masters or PhD preferred.
• Strong technical skill in Materials, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Heavy focus on pipeline failure assessments projects.
• Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates
• Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
• Develop draft reports and work with the Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
• Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, energy companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc.
• Other work duties as assigned.
