Job summary

Acuren's Metallurgical Engineer III role is on-site in Magnolia, Texas, supporting field pipeline failure assessments, inspections, and condition assessments. You will help develop quality plans, review equipment histories, and contribute to long-range plans for gas turbines with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience focusing on pipeline failure assessments.
• Interest and familiarity with non-metallic materials.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Masters or PhD preferred.
• Strong technical skills in Material, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Analytical/investigation skills and strong written/verbal communication; customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Heavy focus on pipeline failure assessments projects.
• Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates
• Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
• Develop draft reports and work with the Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
• Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, energy companies, internal and external stakeholders
• Other work duties as assigned.
